The Census Tree collaboration involves students and faculty from Brigham
Young University and the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Kasey Buckles
is a professor of economics, a faculty affiliate of the Wilson Sheehan
Lab for Economic Opportunities, and a research associate with the
National Bureau of Economic Research. Her research interests include
the economics of the family, economic demography, and child health and
well-being.
Dr. Joseph Price
is a Professor of Economics at Brigham Young University, a Faculty
Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a
Research Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics, a Research Fellow
at the Sutherland Institute, a Senior Fellow at the Austin Institute,
a Fellow at the Wheatley Institution, a Co-Editor of the Economics of
Education Review, and the Director of the BYU Record Linking Lab. Dr.
Price loves mentored research with studenta and has over 40
undergraduate research assistants.
Dr. Mark Clement
is a Professor of Computer Science at Brigham Young University. He is
involved in family history research and manages the Family History
Technology Laboratory as well as working on automated handwriting
recognition.
